Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate Campaign

Instituted the Free Democracy Tour, a six campus Georgia College Tour in partnership with Fair Fight Action, New Georgia Project, and the NAACP Georgia Youth and College Division to educate students on principles of democracy and becoming civically engaged. The Tour also facilitated voter registration efforts.

 

Initiated We Save Us Campaign - a rapid response campaign to combat policies and systemic forms of racism that were amplifying the effects of the pandemic. The campaign was supported by organizations such as Urban League of Greater Atlanta, ACLU Georgia, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, 100 Black Men, and New Georgia Project. The campaign also requested individuals to make a personal commitment to actions such as wearing masks, voting in local, state, and national elections, and completing the census. Americans in 27 states and 52 different cities participated in taking the pledge.

Founded Millennial Civil Rights Movement - an intergenerational and nonpartisan effort led by Millennials to motivate change and social justice. The initiative spearheaded legislation, received national media coverage, and received endorsements from community leaders, elected officials, and iconic Civil Rights leaders such as Congressman John Lewis and Ambassador Andrew Young.
